Looking Beyond the Dellersound Coolmusic Folding Piano Keyboard? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

How these alternatives compare

GarveeLife 88-Key Foldable Piano

The GarveeLife 88-Key Foldable Piano weighs 18.5 pounds, which is significantly heavier than the Dellersound’s 11-pound frame. It includes Bluetooth connectivity, allowing wireless pairing with learning apps, whereas the Dellersound relies on a wired Micro USB connection for MIDI data. Both models feature semi-weighted, touch-sensitive keys and target beginners. The GarveeLife offers a complete portable kit with included accessories, making it suitable for players who value built-in wireless features and a bundled experience over the ultra-lightweight, foldable portability of the Dellersound option.

Rhymo 88-Key Foldable Digital Piano

The Rhymo FP88S presents a compact form factor with a width of 38.6 inches when folded, differing from the Dellersound’s specific folded dimensions. It weighs 11.5 pounds, nearly identical to the Dellersound’s 11-pound weight. This model targets both beginners and adults, offering a ready-to-play package with wireless app support capabilities. While the Dellersound emphasizes a creative foldable design with a carry bag, the Rhymo focuses on a solid, feature-rich setup for travelers. Both utilize semi-weighted key actions, but the Rhymo provides a broader audience appeal with its specific dimensions and wireless integration options for modern practice routines.

OYAYO 88-Key Folding Semi-Weighted Keyboard

The OYAYO FP88D folding keyboard distinguishes itself with velocity-sensitive keys, adding another layer of touch response compared to the Dellersound’s standard touch-sensitive action. It includes a sustain pedal in the package, which the Dellersound does not list as included. Both are designed for beginners and feature semi-weighted actions. The OYAYO is marketed as an app-ready solution, prioritizing software integration for practice. If you need responsive velocity control and an included pedal for a complete setup, this model offers more immediate functionality than the Dellersound, which focuses on lightweight portability and basic MIDI connectivity via USB.

Rhymo 88-Key Folding Semi-Weighted Keyboard

The Rhymo 88-Key Semi-Weighted Folding Piano is the lightest option on this list at 7.72 pounds, much lighter than the Dellersound’s 11-pound weight. It features an LCD screen for visual feedback, a feature absent on the Dellersound. This model supports Bluetooth connectivity, enabling wireless app usage, while the Dellersound requires a wired Micro USB connection. Both target beginners with semi-weighted keys. The Rhymo is ideal for players who want digital feedback and wireless convenience in a highly portable package. If you prioritize weight savings and on-screen information over the Dellersound’s basic carry bag inclusion, this model offers superior technical features for modern learning.

Longeye 88-Key Folding Digital Piano

The Longeye FoldPro2+ 88-Key Folding Piano weighs 14 pounds, slightly heavier than the Dellersound’s 11-pound design. It is marketed as a battery-powered setup, offering solid portability and sound quality for beginners. The Dellersound also uses a rechargeable power source, so both support mobile use without wall outlets. The Longeye includes a full bundle of accessories, whereas the Dellersound provides a carry bag. If you need a complete package with included accessories and battery operation for travel, the Longeye is a practical choice. It sacrifices the ultra-compact weight of the Dellersound for a more comprehensive beginner kit with similar semi-weighted key actions.

Longeye FOLD PRO II 88-Key Folding Piano

The Longeye FOLD PRO II weighs 15.5 pounds, making it heavier than the Dellersound’s 11-pound frame. It includes a sustain pedal, which the Dellersound does not list as included. This model features a unique speaker design for sound projection, differing from the Dellersound’s audio approach. Both target beginners with semi-weighted keys and portable form factors. The Longeye offers a complete package with included accessories, suitable for travelers who prioritize sound output and bundled items. If you need a pedal and better sound projection in a portable unit, this model provides more immediate playability than the Dellersound, which focuses on lightweight folding and basic connectivity.
