How the alternatives differ
Rhymo 88-Key Folding Semi-Weighted Keyboard
The Rhymo model includes an LCD screen, which the Finger Dance lacks. This display provides clearer feedback on settings like tempo and voice selection. Both keyboards feature 88 semi-weighted keys and Bluetooth connectivity. However, the Rhymo is slightly heavier at 7.72 pounds compared to the Finger Dance’s 8.82 pounds. It also folds to a thicker profile of 3.35 inches. You should choose the Rhymo if you prefer visual confirmation of your settings while playing. The Finger Dance remains better for ultra-compact storage due to its thinner folded height.
NikoMaku SWAN-S 88-Key Portable Digital Piano
The NikoMaku SWAN-S is designed for maximum portability. It folds to a compact size with a width of just 2.5 inches. This makes it thinner than the Finger Dance’s 1.57-inch height when folded, though dimensions differ in orientation. It does not list Bluetooth connectivity in its attributes, unlike the Finger Dance which supports wireless MIDI. Both offer 88 semi-weighted keys and include a sustain pedal. You should pick the NikoMaku if you prioritize the smallest possible folded footprint for travel. The Finger Dance is better if you need wireless app integration for recording or learning.
OYAYO 88-Key Folding Semi-Weighted Keyboard

Both instruments feature 88 semi-weighted keys and Bluetooth connectivity for wireless MIDI. The FingerBallet folds to an 88-key size similar to the original. It is available in black, matching the Finger Dance’s option. You should select the FingerBallet if carrying weight is a primary concern during travel. The Finger Dance remains a solid choice if you prefer a slightly more robust build or specific included accessories like the storage bag and headphones mentioned in its features.
NikoMaku SWAN 88-Key Semi-Weighted Digital Piano
The NikoMaku SWAN model offers a stable, all-in-one package for beginners. It features 88 semi-weighted keys, similar to the Finger Dance. However, it does not list Bluetooth connectivity in its attributes, limiting wireless app integration. It is available in white, matching the Finger Dance color option. The SWAN folds to a compact size, though specific folded dimensions are not provided. You should choose this model if you need a straightforward, portable instrument without wireless features. The Finger Dance is better if you require Bluetooth MIDI for connecting to computers or tablets for recording and learning purposes.
OYAYO FP88CW 88-Key Foldable Piano
The OYAYO FP88CW includes built-in speakers, a feature also present in the Finger Dance. It offers 88 semi-weighted keys and Bluetooth connectivity for app integration.
