Key differences in alternatives
Homfan 88-Key Foldable Digital Piano
The Homfan 88-Key Foldable Digital Piano uses semi-weighted keys rather than the fully weighted action found in the Terence V50. This makes the keys lighter and easier to press, which suits beginners who prioritize portability and app integration over heavy resistance. It shares the foldable form factor, keeping transport easy, but lacks the adjustable touch sensitivity modes of the Terence. If you need a lighter touch for quick practice sessions or digital composition, this budget-friendly option fits your needs better than the heavier weighted alternative.
Donner 88-Key Weighted Piano with Folding Cover
The Donner DDP-90 Pro offers a traditional hammer action that feels more authentic than the foldable Terence V50. It includes a triple pedal system for advanced expression, whereas the Terence only provides a sustain pedal. This model is heavier and larger, weighing 70.6 pounds, so it is not designed for travel like the foldable Terence. It suits home learners who want a dedicated furniture-style instrument with acoustic-style key feel. If you value realistic touch and advanced pedal control over portability, this premium option is the better choice.
Donner 88-Key Weighted Digital Piano
The Donner DDP-80 provides robust sound and key action designed for home practice rather than travel. It features a triple pedal system and USB-MIDI connectivity, offering more professional connections than the Terence V50. Weighing 52.5 pounds, it is a stationary instrument with a retro wood finish, unlike the compact and foldable Terence. This model suits beginners who prioritize speaker quality and traditional key feel over portability. If you need a stable, high-quality home setup with strong audio output, this dedicated piano is a superior option to the foldable travel keyboard.
Zilvok 88-Key Semi-Weighted Digital Piano
The Zilvok 88-Key Semi-Weighted Digital Piano includes a stand and case, providing a complete starter kit that the Terence V50 does not. It uses semi-weighted keys, which are lighter than the weighted action of the Terence, making it easier for beginners to press. This model targets adults and beginners who prefer a comprehensive package with fixed support. It lacks the foldable design and built-in battery of the Terence, so it is not suitable for travel. If you need a ready-to-play setup with a stand and case, this option offers better value for stationary practice.
Donner OURA 88-Key Weighted Digital Piano
The Donner OURA S100 features Bluetooth audio support, allowing wireless connection to speakers or headphones, a feature not listed for the Terence V50. It offers a weighted key action and a triple pedal system for advanced expression. Weighing 46.5 pounds, it is a full-size instrument designed for home use, not portability. This model suits beginners who prioritize sound quality and wireless connectivity over the foldable form factor of the Terence. If you want premium wireless features and a traditional home piano setup, this option provides a more robust experience than the compact travel keyboard.

Which keyboard supports Bluetooth audio connectivity?
The Donner OURA S100 Digital Piano supports Bluetooth audio connectivity. This feature allows you to stream audio from other devices directly through the piano’s speakers.
