Looking Beyond the The ONE 61 Key Piano Keyboard? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

How these models compare to The ONE

Fitnessclub 61-Key Lighted Keyboard Kit

The Fitnessclub bundle targets beginners seeking a complete learning kit rather than standalone portability. While The ONE weighs 7.7 pounds and relies on Bluetooth for app integration, this Fitnessclub model is heavier and includes an LCD screen for visual guidance without requiring a smartphone. It offers lighted keys similar to The ONE but adds audio input features for recording or playback. You trade the lightweight, battery-powered convenience of The ONE for a more comprehensive setup that includes essential accessories. This option suits you if you want a ready-to-use package with visual aids that do not depend on external device connectivity.

Yamaha 61-Key Portable Keyboard

The Yamaha PSRE283 prioritizes reliable portability and simple operation over smart features. It lacks Bluetooth connectivity and lighted keys, which are central to The ONE experience. Instead, it focuses on a straightforward interface for beginners who prefer tactile control without app distractions. The Yamaha is slightly heavier at 8.8 pounds compared to The ONE’s 7.7 pounds. It provides built-in learning tools but does not offer the visual LED guidance or wireless MIDI integration. You should choose this model if you want a durable, basic keyboard for home practice that does not require software setup or battery management for wireless functions.

Alesis 61-Key Lighted Keyboard Bundle

The Alesis Teacher’s Choice bundle emphasizes value through included accessories rather than advanced connectivity. It features lighted keys for visual learning, similar to The ONE, but lacks Bluetooth MIDI support. The Alesis unit is significantly heavier at 18.7 pounds, making it less portable than the lightweight 7.7-pound The ONE. It is designed as a complete entry point with bundled items, whereas The ONE focuses on app-driven instruction. You will give up wireless connectivity and portability for a more substantial package that includes necessary peripherals. This alternative fits beginners who want a comprehensive kit with LED guidance but do not need smartphone integration.

Ktaxon 61-Key Lighted Keyboard Package

The Ktaxon package provides a full accessory bundle including a stand, catering to beginners who need a complete setup. Like The ONE, it features lighted keys for visual learning, but it does not include Bluetooth connectivity. The Ktaxon model is larger and heavier, lacking the portability of The ONE’s 7.7-pound design. It suits users who prioritize having all necessary components included rather than a minimalist, app-connected experience. You trade the lightweight, wireless flexibility of The ONE for a stationary, fully equipped station. This option is ideal if you want immediate playability with visual aids without managing app connections or battery life for wireless features.

Best Choice Products 61-Key Lighted Keyboard

The Best Choice Products keyboard stands out with built-in speakers and an LCD screen, offering immediate audio without external devices. It includes lighted keys similar to The ONE but lacks Bluetooth connectivity. The unit is heavier at 17.2 pounds, reducing portability compared to The ONE’s 7.7-pound form factor. It provides a complete bundle for novices who want visual aids and instant sound without extra setup. You give up wireless app integration and lightweight design for a self-contained learning tool. This model suits beginners who prefer tactile LCD navigation and built-in audio over smartphone connectivity and portable, battery-powered operation.

MUSTAR 61-Key Lighted Keyboard Kit

The MUSTAR kit offers a comprehensive package with lighted keys for visual learning, mirroring The ONE’s educational approach. However, it lacks Bluetooth connectivity and is heavier at 15 pounds, making it less portable than The ONE’s 7.7-pound design. It includes essential accessories for a complete starter experience. You trade wireless app integration and lightweight convenience for a more substantial, accessory-rich bundle. This alternative fits beginners who want LED guidance and included peripherals without relying on smartphone connectivity. It is a solid choice for those prioritizing a ready-to-use setup with visual learning aids over portable, app-driven instruction.
