Review the specs to find the best fit for your practice routine and space constraints.
How these alternatives compare
Yhgfe 88-Key Semi-Weighted Digital Piano
This Yhgfe model shares the same 88 semi-weighted keys and black finish as the original. It also includes Bluetooth and USB-MIDI connectivity for device pairing. The dimensions remain identical at 44 by 10 by 4 inches. You get the same sustain pedal and target audience focus on beginners and adults. The primary difference lies in the badge classification as a budget option. If you seek the exact same hardware specifications but prefer a different purchasing tier, this variant serves that role. The included accessories and portable form factor match the original product closely. It remains a solid choice for those wanting a standard semi-weighted keyboard without folding mechanics.
Rhymo 88-Key Foldable Digital Piano
The Rhymo FP88S introduces a folding form factor that the original lacks. It retains 88 semi-weighted keys and a sustain pedal for beginners. However, it weighs 11.5 pounds and measures 38.6 by 13.8 by 3.35 inches when folded. This design prioritizes portability over the fixed structure of the Yhgfe. You gain a compact storage solution for travel, though you lose the included stand and case from the original bundle. Connectivity includes USB-MIDI. If you need a keyboard that folds for easy transport and fits in smaller spaces, this model offers a practical alternative. It suits travelers who value key count but require a collapsible design.
OYAYO 88-Key Folding Semi-Weighted Keyboard
The OYAYO FP88D features 88 semi-weighted, velocity-sensitive keys in a folding portable design. It targets beginners who prioritize transportability. Unlike the original, it does not list specific dimensions or weight in the provided data. It lacks the included accessories like a stand or case found with the Yhgfe. You get USB-MIDI connectivity but no mention of Bluetooth in the attributes. The key action includes velocity sensitivity, which enhances dynamic response. If you want a folding keyboard with responsive keys and do not need a full accessory bundle, this option fits. It sacrifices the comprehensive starter package for a focus on portable playability.
Rhymo 88-Key Folding Semi-Weighted Keyboard
This Rhymo model adds an LCD screen to the folding semi-weighted keyboard design. It includes 88 keys, a sustain pedal, and Bluetooth connectivity. It weighs only 7.72 pounds and measures 38.6 by 13.8 by 3.35 inches. The original Yhgfe lacks a display and folds into a larger package. This model offers visual controls for settings, which the original does not provide. You gain wireless connectivity and a compact, lightweight form factor. However, you lose the included stand and case. If you value visual feedback for settings and need a highly portable keyboard for travel, this version is suitable. It trades the original's accessory bundle for enhanced portability and display features.
Longeye FOLD PRO II 88-Key Folding Piano
The Longeye FOLD PRO II offers 88 semi-weighted keys in a folding portable design. It weighs 15.5 pounds and measures 49.7 by 9.84 by 2.56 inches. It includes a sustain pedal for beginners. The original Yhgfe is heavier in width but lacks the folding mechanism. This model provides a compact storage solution for travel. You get USB-MIDI connectivity, though Bluetooth is not specified. It does not include a stand or case. If you need a folding keyboard with a focus on portability and key count, this is a viable option. It sacrifices the original's included accessories for a collapsible design that fits in smaller spaces. It suits players who travel frequently.
GarveeLife 88-Key Foldable Piano
The GarveeLife Von-eO9zv1vvJy1uNTlZ0wt6y1l features 88 semi-weighted keys in a folding design. It weighs 18.5 pounds and measures 48.6 by 8.6 by 4.8 inches. It includes USB-MIDI and Bluetooth connectivity. The original Yhgfe is lighter in height but lacks the folding feature. This model offers wireless connectivity and a portable form factor. It targets beginners needing a complete portable setup. However, it does not include a stand or case. If you prioritize Bluetooth connectivity and a folding design for travel, this option works. It trades the original's accessory bundle for enhanced wireless features and a collapsible structure. It suits players who need to move their keyboard often.

Frequently asked questions
Are all these alternatives semi-weighted?
Yes, every model listed features semi-weighted keys. This action type provides light resistance, making it easier to move your fingers compared to heavy acoustic actions. It suits beginners who want a portable instrument without the physical strain of weighted hammers. All seven options share this specific key action profile for consistent learning.
Do these keyboards fold for travel?
Several models fold to save space. The Rhymo FP88S and FP88S, the OYAYO FP88D, and the Longeye FOLD PRO II all use folding designs. This allows you to transport them easily in a bag. The Yhgfe models and GarveeLife do not fold, so they remain fixed in shape during transport.
Which option includes a display screen?
The Rhymo model with the Best LCD Screen badge includes a visual display. This screen shows settings and controls directly on the instrument. Other models like the Yhgfe and Longeye do not list a display in their specifications. You rely on connected devices for visual feedback with those units.
Do these pianos have Bluetooth connectivity?
Most models support wireless connections. The Yhgfe, Rhymo FP88S, and GarveeLife explicitly list Bluetooth in their attributes. The OYAYO and Longeye do not specify Bluetooth in the provided data. You should check the manual for each specific unit to confirm wireless capabilities before purchasing for app use.
Are these keyboards suitable for adults?
Yes, the target audience for most models includes adults. The Yhgfe, Rhymo, and Longeye products explicitly list adults as a target demographic. These 88-key instruments provide full-size keys and standard piano functionality. They are designed for serious practice rather than just toy-like play, fitting adult learners well.
What is the weight of the folding models?
The folding models vary in weight. The Rhymo FP88S weighs 11.5 pounds, while the Rhymo with the LCD screen is lighter at 7.72 pounds. The Longeye FOLD PRO II is heavier at 15.5 pounds, and the GarveeLife weighs 18.5 pounds. These weights reflect their portability for travel.
Do these pianos come with a sustain pedal?
Yes, every listed model includes a sustain pedal. This is a standard accessory for digital pianos to mimic acoustic piano techniques. You can connect it via a standard jack on the back of the instrument. This feature is consistent across all Yhgfe, Rhymo, OYAYO, Longeye, and GarveeLife options.
