However, some players prefer a heavier key action or a more traditional upright design.
The 6 alternatives listed here overlap with the AiJoy ADP10 in key specifications. All options include 88 keys and semi-weighted or weighted actions. You will find choices that prioritize portability, such as the folding Terence X88C. Others offer furniture-grade stability like the Vediya VE302 upright. How each alternative compares
Alesis Recital 88-Key Digital Piano
The Alesis Recital weighs just 15.7 pounds, making it significantly lighter than the AiJoy ADP10. It measures 12 inches deep and 50 inches wide, offering a similar footprint but with greater portability. While both models feature 88 semi-weighted keys, the Alesis prioritizes transportability over the stationary stability of the AiJoy. You lose the triple pedal setup found on the ADP10, relying instead on a single sustain pedal. This makes the Alesis a better choice if you need to move your instrument frequently, whereas the AiJoy suits a fixed practice spot.
UISCOM 88-Key Semi-Weighted Digital Piano
The UISCOM model is substantially heavier at 54.7 pounds, providing a much more stable base than the AiJoy ADP10. It stands 28.1 inches tall with flat legs, offering a lower profile than the AiJoy’s 32-inch height. Both keyboards include 88 semi-weighted keys, but the UISCOM’s weight suggests a more permanent home installation. It lacks the minimalist aesthetic of the AiJoy, which has no screen. If you prioritize physical stability and a traditional upright feel over the sleek, space-saving design of the AiJoy, the UISCOM is the stronger option.
Vediya VE302 Semi-Weighted Upright Digital Piano
The Vediya VE302 adopts an upright form factor, measuring 51 inches wide and 30 inches tall. It is wider than the AiJoy ADP10, which is 48 inches wide. Both units feature 88 semi-weighted keys and triple pedals, but the Vediya offers a furniture-style design that integrates into home decor. It includes USB-MIDI connectivity like the AiJoy. However, the Vediya requires more floor space. Choose the Vediya if you want a permanent, furniture-grade instrument, while the AiJoy is better for smaller rooms needing a slim silhouette.
TERENCE X88C Folding Digital Piano
The Terence X88C features a unique folding design, prioritizing portability above all else. Unlike the rigid structure of the AiJoy ADP10, this model is built for travel. It includes Bluetooth connectivity, a feature the AiJoy lacks, along with an LCD screen. Both have 88 semi-weighted keys, but the Terence sacrifices the minimalist aesthetic for digital feedback. It also includes built-in speakers. If you need a keyboard that folds for easy transport and offers app integration via Bluetooth, the Terence is superior to the stationary, screen-free AiJoy.
Zilvok 88-Key Semi-Weighted Digital Piano
The Zilvok 88-Key Digital Piano comes as a complete starter package, often including a stand and headphones. It features 88 semi-weighted keys and USB-MIDI connectivity, similar to the AiJoy. However, it only includes a sustain pedal, unlike the AiJoy’s triple pedal setup. The Zilvok targets beginners who want a ready-to-play solution without purchasing accessories separately. If you prefer a complete bundle with immediate stand support, the Zilvok is practical. If you value the expressive control of three pedals and a standalone minimalist unit, stick with the AiJoy.
Veitob 88-Key Semi-Weighted Digital Piano
The Veitob 88-Key Semi-Weighted Digital Piano is designed as a portable kit, often bundled with a stand. It shares the 88 semi-weighted key count and USB-MIDI connectivity with the AiJoy. However, it only supports a sustain pedal, missing the triple pedal option available on the AiJoy. The Veitob emphasizes convenience and app support for beginners. It is a practical choice if you need a complete setup out of the box. The AiJoy remains the better option if you require the nuanced control of three pedals and a simpler, screen-free interface.
