Comparing key sizes and actions
The ONE Color 61-Key Lighted Keyboard
The ONE Color 61-Key Lighted Keyboard offers a larger 61-key layout compared to the Novation FLkey 37. It targets beginners with lighted keys for guided practice rather than DAW control. While the Novation focuses on sequencing and mixer knobs, this model prioritizes standalone learning. You get wireless connectivity and a lavender finish. It is heavier at 7.7 pounds. Choose this if you want visual prompts and a full piano-style range instead of compact mini keys and hardware controls.
Yhgfe 88-Key Semi-Weighted Digital Piano
The Yhgfe 88-Key Semi-Weighted Digital Piano provides a full 88-key range, significantly larger than the Novation FLkey 37. It features semi-weighted action, offering a different feel from the synth-action mini keys. This model includes a sustain pedal and targets beginners needing a complete bundle. It lacks the dedicated mixer knobs and pads of the Novation. If you need a traditional piano experience with all accessories included, this is a practical alternative. It features velocity-sensitive keys, providing a dynamic response different from synth-action mini keys. This model is a portable digital piano with a sustain pedal, targeting beginners. It lacks the dedicated pads and knobs for DAW control found on the FLkey. If you need a full piano keyboard for practice and creation without DAW-specific hardware, this bundle is a practical option. It is larger and heavier, suited for stationary use.
Casio Casiotone 61-Key Portable Keyboard
