The Eastar EK-620S is a practical starter kit for beginners who need a lightweight, all-in-one package. It includes a stand, stool, and microphone, making it a complete solution for casual players. If you are looking for eastar electronic keyboard piano alternatives, you might want different specifications or features. You may prefer a different size, key action, or brand that better fits your practice space or learning style.
The alternatives in this list were chosen because their specs overlap with the original. They share the 61-key layout and target the same beginner audience. Some options offer weighted keys for more realistic feel, while others include lighted keys for visual learning. You can find portable models with Bluetooth connectivity or larger kits with full-range speakers. Each option provides a distinct set of features to help you find the right instrument for your needs.
Our top pick: Eastar 61-Key Portable Keyboard Kit.
How Each Alternative Compares
Best Choice Products 61-Key Lighted Keyboard Set
The Best Choice Products SKY7177 includes lighted keys, a feature the Eastar EK-620S lacks. This visual aid helps beginners track finger placement more easily. It also features an LCD screen for function display, matching the Eastar’s clarity. However, it is significantly heavier at 17.2 pounds compared to the Eastar’s 6.61 pounds. The dimensions differ as well, with a wider base. You should choose this if you prefer visual learning tools and do not mind the extra weight for a sturdy stand setup.
Donner 61-Key Portable Keyboard Kit
The Donner 610S offers 10W built-in speakers, providing louder audio than the Eastar’s full-range speakers. It is slightly heavier at 9.92 pounds and wider at 37 inches. The Donner kit is designed as a complete beginner package similar to the Eastar. You might prefer this option if you need more volume for home practice without external amplification. The included accessories mirror the Eastar’s bundle approach, making it a direct competitor for those wanting a ready-to-play experience with stronger audio output.
Best Choice Products 61-Key Pink Keyboard Kit
The Best Choice Products SKY8328 is a portable starter set focused on teaching features. It shares the 61-key layout and beginner focus of the Eastar. However, it weighs 17.2 pounds, making it much less portable than the 6.61-pound Eastar. The dimensions suggest a more stationary setup. You should pick this model if you prioritize included accessories and educational tools over lightweight portability. It suits players who want a fixed practice station rather than a keyboard they can carry to different locations easily.
Yamaha 61-Key Portable Keyboard
The Yamaha PSRE283 is a simple, portable black keyboard. It weighs 8.8 pounds, which is heavier than the Eastar but still manageable. It lacks the extensive accessory kit included with the Eastar, such as a stand and stool. The Yamaha focuses on basic learning tools and portability. You should choose this if you want a reliable brand with a minimalist design. It is ideal for beginners who already own their own stand or prefer a cleaner look without the bulk of additional included accessories.
Ktaxon 61-Key Lighted Pink Keyboard Kit
The Ktaxon KT-PIANO KEYBOARD1-051 features lighted keys, offering visual guidance that the Eastar does not. It is significantly heavier at 19.4 pounds and larger in size. This model is designed as a full kit for young players. You should select this if you want visual learning aids and do not mind the substantial weight. It is best for stationary home use where the extra mass provides stability. The lighted keys help beginners learn faster, making it a strong alternative for visual learners.
Rhymo 61-Key Folding Weighted Keyboard
The Rhymo FP61 is the only weighted keyboard in this list. It offers weighted action, which the Eastar lacks, providing a more realistic piano feel. It folds for portability, measuring 45x11x19 cm when folded. It includes Bluetooth connectivity, a feature absent in the Eastar. However, it does not include the same bundle of accessories like a stand or stool. You should choose this if you prioritize key resistance and wireless connectivity. It is ideal for travelers who need a compact, weighted option for practice on the go.
